The VPWiki F.A.Q.
Q. What is "VPWiki"?
A. VPWiki is a protocol that is used by VoodooPad to communicate with a server to store and retrieve data. You can connect to a server over the internet (or your local intranet) from multiple computers, allowing your data to be accessed by you in multiple places, or by multiple people at the same time. It makes sharing you VoodooPad documents possible.
Q. How do I find/install a server that supports the VPWiki protocol?
Flying Meat offers a set of cgi scripts that you may use with your webserver or stand-alone to communicate with VoodooPad. The set of scripts is called "VPStash", and you can find out more information here.
Q. Are there any other servers that support the VPWiki protocol?
A. Yes, but at this time they are still in development:
twiki: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/VoodooPadXmlRpcAddOn
pmwiki: http://www.pmichaud.com/wiki/Development/XML-RPC
Q. Are there any vpwiki hosting services?
A. Not that we are aware of.
